Cancellation & Refund Policy

Backtrix Technologies (Prop. JYOTI) believes in helping its customers as far as possible, and has therefore a liberal cancellation policy.
1. Refund Eligibility for Backtrix Academy (Training Programs)
Backtrix Technologies offers refunds on Backtrix Academy training program enrollments subject to the following conditions:
Full Refund
Available if the cancellation request is made 7 or more days before the scheduled batch start date.
50% Refund
Available if the cancellation request is made 3 to 6 days before the scheduled batch start date.
No Refund
No refund will be issued once the training has commenced or if the request is made less than 3 days before the batch start date.
2. Refund Eligibility for Backtrix Labs
- Backtrix Labs environments are procured on a rolling subscription basis. Given the real-time resource allocation and automated provisioning involved, we do not offer refunds (prorated or otherwise) for mid-cycle cancellations.
- In the extremely rare event of a severe platform-wide outage preventing environment access for more than 48 consecutive hours, eligible subscribers may be offered subscription credits or prorated refunds at our complete discretion.
3. General Cancellation Conditions
- Cancellations will be considered only if the request is made immediately after placing the order. However, the cancellation request may not be entertained if the orders have been communicated to the vendors/merchants and they have initiated the process of shipping them.
- Backtrix Technologies does not accept cancellation requests for perishable items like flowers, eatables, etc. However, refund/replacement can be made if the customer establishes that the quality of product delivered is not good.
- In case of receipt of damaged or defective items, please report the same to our Customer Service team. The request will, however, be entertained once the merchant has checked and determined the same at his own end. This should be reported within 7 days of receipt of the products.
- In case you feel that the product received is not as shown on the site or as per your expectations, you must bring it to the notice of our customer service within 7 days of receiving the product. The Customer Service Team, after looking into your complaint, will take an appropriate decision.
- In case of complaints regarding products that come with a warranty from manufacturers, please refer the issue to them.
4. Refund Process
To request a refund:
- Send an email to academy@backtrix.com or finance@backtrix.com with the subject line: “Refund Request — [Your Name] — [Course Name]”.
- Include your registered email address, phone number, and the reason for cancellation.
- Our team will acknowledge your request within 2 business days.
- Upon approval, the refund will be processed within 9–15 business days.
5. Refund Method
Refunds will be credited back to the original payment method used during enrollment. The refund will be processed through our authorized payment gateway. Please note that the actual credit to your account may take additional time depending on your financial institution.
6. Non-Refundable Situations
- If the student has attended any live session after the batch has started.
- If the student has accessed or downloaded course materials after the batch start date.
- If the student was removed from the program due to a violation of our Terms and Conditions or Student Conduct policy.
- If the cancellation request is made less than 3 days before the batch start date.
7. Academy Batch Rescheduling
As an alternative to a refund, students may request to be rescheduled to the next available batch of the same program at no additional cost. This option is available once per enrollment. Rescheduling requests must be made before the batch start date.
