1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions, along with our Privacy Policy and other terms (“Terms”), constitute a binding agreement by and between Backtrix Technologies (Prop. JYOTI) (“Website Owner,” “Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) and you (“you” or “your”) and relate to your use of our website, goods (as applicable), or services (as applicable) (collectively, “Services”).

By using our website and availing the Services, you agree that you have read and accepted these Terms (including the Privacy Policy). We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time and without assigning any reason. It is your responsibility to periodically review these Terms to stay informed of updates.

2. Nature of Services

Backtrix Technologies provides services across two primary sectors: Backtrix Academy and Backtrix Labs.

Backtrix Academy (Training Programs)

• Provides live, instructor-led online cybersecurity training programs.
• All sessions are live and interactive, not pre-recorded.
• Batch sizes are limited to ensure quality instruction.

Backtrix Labs (Sandboxed Environments)

• Provides isolated, cloud-hosted virtual environments for threat hunting, SOC analysis, and DevSecOps practice.
• Lab instances are provisioned dynamically and may be ephemeral (data goes away upon termination).
• Usage is monitored solely for system stability and adherence to acceptable use constraints (preventing outbound malicious traffic).

3. General Terms of Use

The use of this website or availing of our Services is subject to the following terms:

• To access and use the Services, you agree to provide true, accurate, and complete information to us during and after registration, and you shall be responsible for all acts done through the use of your registered account.
• Neither we nor any third parties provide any warranty or guarantee as to the accuracy, timeliness, performance, completeness, or suitability of the information and materials offered on this website or through the Services, for any specific purpose. You acknowledge that such information and materials may contain inaccuracies or errors and we expressly exclude liability for any such inaccuracies or errors to the fullest extent permitted by law.
• Your use of our Services and the website is solely at your own risk and discretion. You are required to independently assess and ensure that the Services meet your requirements.
• The contents of the Website and the Services are proprietary to us and you will not have any authority to claim any intellectual property rights, title, or interest in its contents.

• You understand that upon initiating a transaction for availing the Services you are entering into a legally binding and enforceable contract with us for the Services.
• You shall be entitled to claim a refund of the payment made by you in case we are not able to provide the Service. The timelines for such return and refund will be according to the specific Service you have availed or within the time period provided in our policies (as applicable). In case you do not raise a refund claim within the stipulated time, this would make you ineligible for a refund.
• Notwithstanding anything contained in these Terms, the parties shall not be liable for any failure to perform an obligation under these Terms if performance is prevented or delayed by a force majeure event.

4. Recording Access Policy

Session recordings may be provided to enrolled students for personal review purposes, subject to the following conditions:

• Recordings are provided on a best-effort basis and are not guaranteed for every session.
• Recording access is limited to the duration of the program plus 30 days after completion.
• Recordings are for personal use only and must not be shared, redistributed, or published.
• Backtrix Technologies reserves the right to revoke recording access at any time for violation of these terms.

5. Intellectual Property

All content delivered through our programs, including but not limited to course materials, presentations, lab exercises, recordings, documentation, and assessments, is the exclusive intellectual property of Backtrix Technologies.

• Students may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any course material unless expressly authorized in writing.
• The Backtrix Technologies name, logo, and branding elements are trademarks and may not be used without prior written consent.
• Any tools or software provided during training are licensed solely for educational purposes during the program.

6. Student & Lab User Conduct

Users participating in Backtrix Academy programs or Backtrix Labs environments are expected to:

• Maintain professional and respectful behavior during all live sessions.
• Not engage in any activity that disrupts the learning environment or stability of the cloud platform.
• Not share login credentials, VPN keys, course materials, or lab instances with unauthorized individuals.
• CRITICAL (Lab Environments): Use Backtrix Labs strictly for contained educational purposes. You shall not initiate any outbound network attacks, scans, or malicious traffic from our hosted infrastructure against external targets. Any such activity will result in immediate permanent termination of your account without refund, and potential reporting to relevant authorities.
• Comply with all applicable local and international cyber laws and ethical hacking guidelines.

Backtrix Technologies reserves the right to immediately suspend or terminate access to both Academy and Labs services without refund for violation of these conduct expectations.

7. Payment Terms

All payments are processed securely through our authorized payment gateway partners. By making a payment, you agree to the following:

• All fees are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes.
• Payment must be completed at the time of enrollment.
• Refund and cancellation policies are detailed in our separate Refund Policy and Cancellation Policy pages.

8. Limitation of Liability

Backtrix Technologies shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid by you for the specific program in question.

9. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms and any dispute or claim relating to it, or its enforceability, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. All disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Gurugram, Haryana, India.
